The SoilActive™ technology of PrePass is unique in that it stays active in the soil to suppress potential weeds after killing the weeds that had already emerged. SoilActive™ generally lasts in the soil for up to three weeks, but if you apply it in the fall, the cold soil conditions slow it down and eventually stop it from activating until spring, when it is re-activated and begins controlling susceptible weeds again.
