FarmLink Marketing Solutions and Emerge Ag Solutions have announced a unique partnership to offer full service consulting options to grain farmers in Southwestern Saskatchewan, following numerous requests from clients for comprehensive consulting packages.

Rob Owens from Emerge Ag Solutions is ready to take a new service offering to his customers. “They’ve been asking market-related questions for a few years now. It’s exciting to be able to provide advice backed by FarmLink’s analytical desk and service packages.”

FarmLink Marketing Solutions provides analytical expertise, farm-tailored planning and comprehensive sales advice for grains, oilseeds, pulses and specialty crops across Western Canada. Its analytical team sources global markets to maximize the best opportunities for producers.

Mark Lepp, Co-Founder and Business Manager of FarmLink Marketing Solutions, describes the partnership with Emerge as a natural fit because of the companies’ similar approach to doing business.

“We know that, just like our local advisors in their personal home towns, Emerge Ag plays a big part in the Eston and area community,” he says.  “They are ingrained with the knowledge and influence that the agricultural industry has here, and have a strong understanding of the needs and goals of each community producer.”

FarmLink Marketing Solutions is the premier source of expert crop marketing advice in Western Canada and both parties are excited about the grain marketing opportunities they can bring local farmers in Eston and surrounding areas.

Emerge Ag Solutions would also like to take this opportunity to announce that Lacey Gerbrandt has signed on to be the FarmLink representative.  Lacey was raised on a farm near Chaplin and remains as active there as she can with respect to living away.  Her passion for the family-farm has led her to continuing employment in the agriculture industry.  Prior to moving to Eston five years ago, Lacey was a successful marketing representative in the livestock industry.  She left the position due to extensive travel requirements and has since missed working directly with individual and family operations to improve their profitability.  She has been working to upgrade her education with various economic and marketing classes through the University of Athabasca.  Lacey has taken on the role of Grain Marketing Advisor with Emerge and will focus on maximizing producer client’s returns and eliminate the stress and anxiety farmers often experience when they approach their marketing alone.

“I am very excited to serve the Grain Industry in West Central Saskatchewan with the provision of independent, unbiased grain marketing and risk management solutions to help clients be more profitable and to facilitate the process of making informed business and marketing decisions.”

Lacey welcomes your inquires on how FarmLink Marketing Solutions can become a valuable part of your Farm’s Marketing & Management Team.  Please stop by the Emerge Ag Solutions and FarmLink booth at the Eston Economic Development Tradeshow on April 13th at the community complex, to visit Lacey and officially welcome her to the Emerge Ag Solutions Team.
